Description
The Nils pendant pairs a smooth, matte metal shade with a natural wood grain accent, balancing clean Scandinavian lines with a touch of warmth. Its simple dome silhouette feels timeless and modern at once, and the black or white finish lets you choose between a bold, graphic look and a lighter, softer one.
The shade directs light downwards, giving a focused glow with a soft ambient edge that suits kitchen islands, dining tables and breakfast bars. Hang a single Nils above a small table, or run two or three in a line over an island for a balanced, considered look. The 90cm cord is adjustable, so you can set the drop to suit your ceiling height and the surface below; a drop of around 75cm above a table usually works well. In a dining room, a single Nils centred over the table creates a warm pool of light that draws people together for meals.
At 30cm across and 25cm tall, Nils is generous enough to make an impact without overwhelming the room. It takes a standard screw bulb, sold separately, and is controlled from your wall switch. The durable iron construction is easy to wipe clean, which helps in busy kitchens. As a hard-wired fitting, it should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Do I need an electrician?
Most of our lights can be fitted yourself. Table lamps and rechargeable lights need no installation at all. A ceiling or wall light that replaces an existing fitting can be installed at home: switch off the power at the fuse box first. Adding a new light point, or fitting a light in a bathroom, is a job for a qualified electrician. If you are unsure, ask one.
Are bulbs included?

How much is delivery, and when will it arrive?
