Hemp Rope & Metal Drum Pendant Light

Hemp rope wrapped around a metal frame gives this pendant a textured, relaxed character. A broad drum-shaped band sits below an open framework, allowing the bulb and the structure above it to remain visible. The contrast between the darker metal and natural-toned rope works well with timber furniture, woven chairs and neutral textiles. It is a useful ceiling feature for a dining space or kitchen area where material texture matters as much as a decorative shape.

The shade measures 30 cm in diameter and 20 cm high. Its relatively shallow profile creates a clear horizontal line above the furniture below, while the open upper section keeps the form from feeling too heavy. A single pendant can define a compact table; a row of separately purchased fittings can work along a larger island or dining surface. Leave enough space between shades for the rope band and metal outline to remain distinct within the arrangement.

An E27 bulb is required and is not included. Since the bulb is visible through the open areas, choose its appearance alongside the desired light colour and brightness. The pendant has an adjustable hanging cord, although the maximum drop is not confirmed. Plan the full height with the shade and ceiling connection before ordering. This is a suspended hardwired fitting rather than a flush ceiling light, and installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
