Alva Wood & Metal Nordic Wall Lamp

The Alva wall lamp pairs a smooth solid wood base with a matte, powder-coated metal shade, balancing natural warmth with clean, modern geometry. Its compact form brings quiet Scandinavian character to a wall without taking up valuable space, and the classic black or white finish makes it easy to fit into almost any colour scheme.

Fit Alva beside the bed as a reading light, run a pair either side of a headboard, or use it to light a hallway, landing or reading nook. With a warm white bulb, the shade directs a soft, focused glow that makes rooms feel calm and welcoming in the evening. It also works well above a coffee station or small dining table, where a pendant would feel too much and a ceiling light too bright. A pair either side of a mirror or sideboard also gives a balanced, hotel-style finish to a hallway.

Alva takes a single E27 bulb up to 60W, sold separately, so you can choose the warmth and brightness that suit your space; a warm white LED gives the cosiest effect. At 19cm tall with a 15cm shade and a weight of around 400g, it suits smaller rooms of roughly 3–6m². As a hard-wired wall fitting, it should be installed by a qualified electrician.
