These terms and conditions govern every sale made on aurelhome.com, trading as Aurel Home. Placing an order means you accept these terms in full.

1. Products

Our products (pendant lights) are described and shown as accurately as possible. Photographs and descriptions are given for guidance: colours and finishes may differ slightly from one screen to another and from one piece to another, without this engaging the seller's liability.

2. Prices

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP), VAT included. Delivery is free to the United Kingdom; delivery to France costs £10 per order. Aurel Home may change its prices at any time; the price that applies is the one shown when you confirm your order.

3. Orders

Your order is confirmed once you have accepted these terms and your payment has been confirmed. A confirmation email summarising your order is sent to you. Aurel Home reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event of a dispute, suspected fraud or unavailability.

4. Payment

Payment is made online, through a secure, encrypted (SSL) checkout. The payment methods available are shown at checkout. You are charged when your order is confirmed. We never store full card details on our servers.

5. Delivery

Delivery areas, charges and times (free to the United Kingdom, £10 to France, dispatched within 24–48 hours, delivered in 6–8 days to the United Kingdom) are detailed in our Shipping policy.

6. Right to cancel and returns

You have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your order (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), which we extend to 30 days. Returns are free: if you change your mind, we send you a prepaid return label and charge no restocking fee. Damaged, faulty or wrong items are replaced or refunded free of charge. 7. Warranty and statutory rights

Every light comes with a 3-year warranty against faults. This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, under which goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality.

8. Use and liability

Our lights must be fitted and used as intended and in line with the regulations in force. A light can be fitted in place of an existing light with the power switched off at the fuse box; a new light point, or a light in a bathroom, must be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with BS 7671. Aurel Home cannot be held liable for misuse or incorrect installation. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Intellectual property

All content on the site (text, images, logo, brand) is protected and remains the exclusive property of Aurel Home. Any reproduction without permission is prohibited.

How we handle your data is described in our Privacy policy.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer protections of the law of your country of residence, which these terms do not reduce. In the event of a dispute, we will first look for an amicable solution. Failing agreement, the courts with jurisdiction will decide.
