The Orrery holds a loose constellation of rattan cane leaves on slender black iron arms, each panel pitched at its own angle around a single light at the centre — the way a clockmaker's orrery holds its planets around the sun. Lit, the open weave throws a soft, dappled pattern across the ceiling and walls, which is why it belongs above a dining table or at the centre of a living room, where it is seen from every side.
