The Ridge Pendant

Solid wood overhead does something no painted shade manages.

A turned dome, ribbed the whole way round, cut from a single piece of wood. The ridges catch the light and throw a soft grain of shadow across the ceiling, warming the room before the bulb has done any real work.

• Solid wood throughout: shade, fixture and body — no veneer, no plastic core.
• Two finishes: pale wood for a lighter, organic room, walnut for depth and formality.
• Ribbed dome: the texture catches light and gives the ceiling something to hold.
• Focused downward pool: warm light over a bedside, a table or a reading chair.

Made for bedrooms, living rooms and dining nooks of roughly 5–10 m².
