The schoolhouse shade, kept exactly as it was.

A tiered opal glass dome held in an antique brass gallery, hung from a twisted fabric flex. Milk-white glass turns the LED into something soft enough to sit under all evening. Two sizes, and it mounts flush to the ceiling if you would rather not hang it.

  • Milk opal glass: diffuses the light fully — no glare and no hot spot, whichever way you look at it.
  • Antique brass gallery: visible slotted screws and an aged finish, the detail that separates a real schoolhouse shade from a copy.
  • Pendant or flush: hang it on the flex over an island, or fit it tight to a low ceiling.
  • Two diameters: 20 cm for a hallway or a pair over a bar, 30 cm as a single focal point.

Made for kitchen islands, breakfast bars and hallways with ceilings of 2.4 m or higher.
